NVIDIA Launches Comprehensive Suite of Healthcare Microservices to Advance AI-Driven Medical Innovations

NVIDIA has introduced more than 22 new microservices intended to enable healthcare enterprises worldwide to capitalize on the most advanced generative AI technologies across any cloud infrastructure. NVIDIA NIM AI models and workflows feature industry-standard APIs to simplify the development and deployment of cloud-native applications. NVIDIA AI Enterprise 5.0 provides access to these microservices, which facilitate the generation, prediction, and simulation of digital biology, as well as advanced imaging, natural language, and speech recognition. These services are designed to accelerate healthcare workflows in drug discovery, medical imaging, and genomics analysis, and are enhanced by NVIDIA's accelerated software development packages and tools.

The healthcare microservices encompass a range of models optimized for various medical applications. MolMIM and ESMFold cater to generative chemistry and protein structure prediction. The VISTA 3D microservice enhances 3D segmentation model creation, and the Universal DeepVariant microservice offers significant speed improvements for genomic variant calling. Companies like Cadence, Amgen, and Hippocratic AI are already integrating these microservices into their platforms to advance molecular discovery, drug design, and patient care. NVIDIA’s initiative marks a significant step in transforming healthcare by providing scalable AI solutions that facilitate early disease detection, drug development, and improved patient outcomes.
