Nike and Hyperice, a health technology company, have partnered to develop two wearable technologies that are designed to improve the warm-up and recuperation routines of athletes. High-tech footwear and a versatile vest comprise the recently introduced products. The footwear, which Nike describes as "wearable and mobile," is equipped with heat and dynamic air-compression massage capabilities for the feet and ankles. A system of dual-air Normatec bladders, which are incorporated with warming elements, is employed in these boots to ensure that the upper portion of the boots is evenly heated. Nike clarified that this combination is intended to "drive heat deep into the muscle and tissue in the foot and ankle, helping athletes move, perform and recover naturally much faster." The battery cell, which is situated in the insole of each shoe, regulates the three levels of compression and heat that the boots provide. Athletes can choose to control the heat and compression of both shoes simultaneously with a single button or adjust each shoe individually.
The collaborative vest utilizes thermoelectric coolers to deliver immediate heating and cooling capabilities without requiring ice or liquid. According to Nike, this feature enables athletes to "dial their body temperatures to their exact specifications during warm-ups and cool-downs." Hyperice, a company renowned for its innovative recuperation technology, contributes its expertise to this partnership, supplementing Nike's product line with state-of-the-art thermal and compression technology. This collaboration represents a substantial advancement in the development of recovery solutions and optimal athletic performance.
