San Francisco-based health care navigation firm Castlight Health recently announced the successful completion of multiple launches of its Castlight Complete health navigation platform. According to the company, a number of large employers encompassing over 300,000 employees and dependents have taken advantage of the new platform to administer well-being and care guidance programs. Castlight Health anticipates bringing Castlight Complete to other employers across the country in the coming months.
Castlight Health began development of Castlight Complete eighteen months ago. The goal of the platform is to act as a single application that can address all stages of employees’ health care journeys. Castlight Health built the platform from scratch in order to guarantee complete scalability and configurability for a wide range of users.
Building upon Castlight Health’s existing corporate wellness and consumer price transparency tools, Castlight Complete aims to be both personalized to each individual user and intuitive to use. The tools provided via the Castlight Complete platform can help employees and their families maintain healthy habits, research and make optimal health care choices and easily take advantage of key benefits and programs available via their employers.
John Doyle, Castlight Health’s chief executive officer, notes that Castlight Complete marks a significant milestone for both the health care navigation company and for digital health care solutions more broadly: “Employers have been challenged by the proliferation of solutions that are difficult to deploy in the complex benefits environments commonly found in large organizations. In order to better serve new clients who may not need or want to take advantage of the whole range of Castlight Complete’s capabilities, Castlight Health will still offer all of their care guidance and well-being solutions a la carte. Each product, however, will come with connectivity built in to allow for additional integrations and service options as employers face the need.
