Within3 Rushes To Outpace Growing Demand

Within3, a life science communication and collaboration solution provider, has found its place among those companies who were able to use the demand created by the COVID-19 pandemic to help fuel their success. The Ohio-based company provides options for pharma and biotech companies to collaborate virtually. While many states and countries cautiously began opening their doors over the summer, some are already noticing a resurgence of COVID-19 cases and are again implementing travel and social restrictions. This means more opportunities for companies who sell virtual communication tools.

Within3’s virtual engagement platform helps patients, providers, and payers communicate anytime, anywhere, with any type of device. Clients can use a single platform to conduct virtual advisory board meetings, design and operate clinical trials, implement training and human resources policies, hold panel discussions, and engage in internal and external communications. Cutting-edge real-time translation tools enable meetings to be held across multiple languages instantly, cultivating deeper engagement between clients or coworkers anywhere in the world.

The Cleveland-area company recently raised $100 million in funding, led by Insight Partners, with further participation coming from Silversmith Capital Partners. Insight Partners’ managing directors Deven Parekh, Adam Berger, and Ross Devor will join Within3’s board of directors. Within3’s current client base includes most of the top-20 pharma companies. These organizations utilize Within3’s solutions to host meetings, collaborate throughout the research and development process, and share and publish data.

“Investment opportunities in companies like Within3 don’t come around very often,” said Parekh. “The company has seen explosive growth over the last 12 quarters and continues to break new records each month… At a time when collaboration, communication and cooperation is more critical than ever across the global life sciences ecosystem, we are excited to bring our strategic operations expertise to help Within3 scale.”

With users already in over 140 countries, Within3 still plans on using a substantial portion of the $100 million to supplement its international expansion projects. With a toolkit that contains more than 80 features and the ability to translate into 100 different languages, it is no wonder so many companies have turned to Within3. With the recent cash injection, Within3 can start building more infrastructure, work on product innovation, and continue its international expansion.
