Norman Schwartz, Chairman of the Board, President and Chief Executive Officer


Norman D. Schwartz is Chairman of the Board, President, Chief Executive Officer of Bio Rad Laboratories Inc. Mr. Schwartz has been President and Chief Executive Officer since 2003 and Chairman of the Board since 2012.


Andrew Last, Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer


Andrew Last is the Chief Operating Officer of Bio-Rad Laboratories. Last has 26 years of experience. He began his career in 1996.


Before joining Bio-Rad Laboratories, Last was a Chief Commercial Officer at Berkeley Lights, Inc. and before that a Chief Operating Officer at Intrexon Corporation. Earlier in his career he worked with Monsanto Company as a director of global category management.


Last graduated from Cranfield University with a PhD in agrochemicals and an MS in bio-aeronautics and from University of Leicester with an undergraduate degree in biological sciences.


Ilan Daskal, Executive Vice President, Chief Financial Officer


Mr. Daskal comes to Bio-Rad from Lumileds, where he served as Chief Financial Officer. He has over 25 years of experience in senior financial roles and has held several CFO positions at both public and private companies that include International Rectifier Corporation and Infineon. Mr. Daskal holds a Masters in Finance degree from City University of New York and a BB in Accounting from Tel-Aviv College of Business in Israel.

Ajit Ramalingam, Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer


Ajit Ramalingam serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer of the company. Prior to this, he has worked at Logitech as Chief Accounting Officer, Vice President and Corporate Controller. He has also worked for Broadsoft and PwC.
