Spring Health Unveils Community Care Solution to Address Mental Health Equity

Spring Health, the premier global mental health solution for employers and health insurers, has launched its Community Care solution to address mental health equity by directly addressing the social determinants of health. Mental well-being is substantially affected by these factors, which include food insecurity, hazardous living conditions, and caregiving obstacles. The Spring Health platform has now integrated more than 500,000 verified community resources from all 50 states, including food banks, government programs, and non-profit organizations. At present, 45% of adults experience unmet social requirements, including access to food, housing, transportation, and education. This issue is particularly problematic for working individuals, women of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, and lower-wage earners. Many individuals encounter difficulties in locating support, determining eligibility, or overcoming the stigma associated with seeking assistance, despite the availability of resources.

Community Care members commence their journey with a dynamic mental health assessment that identifies their basic social requirements. Members receive personalized care plans that connect them to pertinent local resources in accordance with the results and can choose available self-service options or seek assistance from Spring Health's team of experienced Community Care Advocates. With 89% of patients experiencing reliable improvement or recovery from depression or anxiety, Spring Health's digital solutions generate a 4.1x net positive ROI. Spring Health endeavors to facilitate positive outcomes and broaden its influence on mental health equity by providing centralized access to high-quality mental health care and confidential local resource connections.
