Omada Health has partnered with the state of Alaska to enhance virtual healthcare access for its residents, as announced on August 20, 2024. This collaboration will integrate Omada’s virtual behavior change programs, including Prevention, Hypertension, and Diabetes, into Alaska’s Fresh Start Campaign. The initiative aims to address healthcare access issues prevalent in Alaska’s diverse and rural communities by offering free and comprehensive health programs. Participants will be paired with Omada coaches and specialists to support healthier lifestyles and manage chronic conditions effectively.

Governor Mike Dunleavy expressed his administration’s commitment to data-driven health improvements, emphasizing the significance of such programs for long-term state health. The Fresh Start Campaign has already seen substantial results, with residents losing over 30,000 pounds through the program. Omada Health, a leader in virtual-first healthcare, brings over a decade of experience and a track record of success in improving health outcomes.
