Notable Women Leaders in Consumer HealthTech of 2022

The Healthcare Technology Report is pleased to recognize three Notable Women Leaders in Consumer HealthTech of 2022. These exceptional women play pivotal roles for their companies, ensuring operational proficiency while driving towards growth. Through their efforts, their organizations improve the experiences and, ultimately, the health of the end customer.

Dana Fields oversees Privia Health’s compliance and audit programs in her dual roles as Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer and played an integral role in Privia’s initial public offering in 2021. As Vice President of Operations for Nurx, Lolita Sanders has driven operational excellence and efficiency, growing Nurx’s Customer Care team by 3x over the last 4 years. And Penny Moore, Chief Commercial Officer of Springbuk, has developed a track record of using her expertise in providing transformational growth in healthcare SaaS and technology companies to successfully optimize recurring revenue growth, client revenue retention, and shareholder value.

Each of these women also go above and beyond their duties in different ways. Dana Fields is a member of Privia’s Diversity and Equity Inclusion Steering Committee, Lolita Sanders is outspoken and uncompromising about the mental, emotional, and financial well-being of her teams, and Penny Moore is on the board of whiskerDocs, which currently provides 24/7 access to veterinary expertise to more than 6 million pets and their pet parents. Please join us in celebrating these Notable Women Leaders in Consumer HealthTech of 2022.

Dana Fields
Company: Privia Health
Title: Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer

Dana Fields is the Senior Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for Privia Health. Privia Health is a national technology-driven physician enablement company that collaborates with medical groups, health plans, and health systems to optimize physician practices, improve patient experiences, and reward doctors for delivering high-value care in both in-person and virtual settings. Reporting to Privia’s CEO, Fields is responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance and audit programs and ensuring compliance with laws, regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures. She is a member of Privia’s Diversity and Equity Inclusion Steering Committee and reports to Privia’s Audit and Compliance Committees. She also played an integral role in Privia’s initial public offering in 2021.

Fields has over 20 years of experience serving provider and payer companies. Prior to joining Privia, she began her career as a Certified Public Accountant with EY and held various leadership and compliance roles for Ardent Health Services, Premise Health, and HealthSpring. Fields has successfully built new departments, improved processes and controls to drive cost efficiency and mitigate risk, and managed the preparation for and execution of significant business transactions. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Clemson.

Lolita Sanders
Company: Nurx
Title: Vice President of Operations

Lolita Sanders is Vice President of Operations at Nurx, which offers three things everyone needs from their healthcare: Choice, so you can make positive decisions about your own body. Control, so you can plan ahead and look after yourself without complication. And freedom, so your access to medication is never blocked by cost, bureaucracy, geography, stigma, or anything else. Joining the team as an Operations Manager, Sanders has driven operational excellence and efficiency, growing Nurx’s Customer Care team by 3x over the last 4 years.

Prior to Nurx, Sanders spent 10 years in the not-for-profit sector focused on fund development for organizations providing education and safety for women and children in abusive environments. In early 2014, she shifted her focus to operations at start-ups, where she played an instrumental role in building out Uber's Customer Care teams. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Business and Technical Writing from the University of Illinois Urbana—Champaign, but it's her unique leadership style that earned her the reverence she deserves. Sanders is outspoken and uncompromising about the mental, emotional, and financial well-being of her teams while still upholding company values that push the mission forward.
