Bio-Rad Laboratories Launches ChemiDoc Go Imaging System

Bio-Rad Laboratories, a global leader in clinical diagnostics and life science research, has introduced the ChemiDoc Go Imaging System, a cutting-edge addition to its ChemiDoc Imaging Systems portfolio. The system utilizes complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) digital imaging to acquire images with high sensitivity, comparable to larger instruments, on a benchtop scale. This results in rapid, reliable, and highly sensitive gel and western blot imaging. The user-friendly and compact ChemiDoc Go facilitates advanced chemiluminescence and fluorescence detection using StarBright Dyes. It is equipped with three sample trays, which provide a wide range of applications such as the quantitation of nucleic acids and proteins using a variety of detection methodologies. Furthermore, the system's all-LED illumination guarantees consistent performance over time and reduces maintenance, thereby enhancing durability.

"We are excited to introduce the ChemiDoc Go Imaging System, the first benchtop imager on the market to leverage advanced CMOS digital imaging. Bio-Rad's new imager enables researchers to capture western blot and gel images from their benchtop with high sensitivity and unparalleled versatility," stated Kenneth Oh, Global Marketing Manager at Bio-Rad Laboratories. Bio-Rad Laboratories, a company based in Hercules, California, is responsible for the development, production, and marketing of a diverse selection of products that are used in clinical diagnostics and life science research. In 2023, the organization generated $2.7 billion in revenue and maintains a global network of approximately 8,000 employees.
