Key Executives

Liam J. Kelly, Chairman, President and CEO


Liam became President and CEO on January 1, 2018. He joined Teleflex in April 2009 and shortly thereafter assumed responsibility as President of EMEA. He was then promoted to the position of Executive Vice President and President, International in June 2012. In April 2014, Liam was appointed Executive Vice President and President, Americas. In April 2015, he was named Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. From May 2016 to December 2017, he served as President and Chief Operating Officer.


Thomas Powell, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer


Tom joined Teleflex in 2011 as Senior Vice President, Global Finance. He was promoted to Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in March 2012.


Howard Cyr, Corporate Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer


In this role, Howard will leverage his legal and compliance-related experience to successfully manage Teleflex’s compliance program. Previously, Howard was Associate General Counsel for Teleflex where he was responsible for internal and external investigations along with managing the Company’s global litigation, risk exposure, and regulatory compliance matters.


John Deren, Corporate Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer


Prior to joining Teleflex in May 2013, John was VP & Global Controller of Trinseo, a global specialty materials company. He led the financial carve out of Trinseo from Dow Chemical Company and successfully completed the Company’s first public reporting requirements. From June 2009 to December 2010, John was the Assistant Controller of Exelon Generation, one of the world’s largest producers and wholesale marketers of power. At Exelon he provided financial leadership over the largest nuclear fleet in the United States as well as Exelon’s wholesale energy business. From 2004 to 2009, John was the Assistant Controller of Rohm and Haas Company until its acquisition by the Dow Chemical Company in 2009. At Rohm and Haas he had oversight of the Company’s global consolidation, external reporting and all technical accounting matters.


Timothy Duffy, Vice President and Chief Information Officer


Tim joined Teleflex in October 2011 as the Vice President of Global IT Applications. Prior to this, he served as the Chief Information Officer for Cephalon, an International Bio-Pharmaceutical company, and held various leadership positions at Merck Pharmaceuticals, Andersen Consulting and as a Captain in the U.S. Army. His experiences in the Life Sciences industry include IT Strategic Planning, leading large-scale ERP and Commercial Business Transformation Programs, Strategic Outsourcing, M&A Integration and leading IT Operations in support of Global Business Functions.


Michelle Fox, Corporate Vice President & Chief Medical Officer


Fox previously served as Vice President, Clinical and Medical Affairs since January 2015. Michelle joined Teleflex in December 2013 as the Senior Director of Clinical Affairs through the acquisition of Vidacare. She has more than ten years of medical device management experience. During her time at Vidacare, Michelle led many successful growth initiatives and acted as the spokesperson for the company resulting in practice change through the release of new guidelines and policies, collaboration in education, clinical research, professional development and advocacy.


Cameron Hicks, Corporate Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer


Hicks joined Teleflex in April 2013, bringing more than 23 years of experience in Human Resources and Organizational Development to his role.
