Jim Hollingshead, President and CEO

Jim Hollingshead is the President and CEO of Insulet Corporation. Hollingshead has 29 years of experience. He began his career in 1993.

Before joining Insulet Corporation, Hollingshead was a President of Sleep and Respiratory Care Business at ResMed and before that a principal at Deloitte Consulting. Earlier in his career he worked with Monitor Group as a manager and senior manager of US.

Hollingshead graduated from University of California, Berkeley with a PhD and MA in political science and from Stanford University with an undergraduate degree in history and international relations.

Adam Wasylyshyn, Chief Information Officer

Adam Wasylyshyn began his professional career 22 years ago. Today, he is the Chief Information Officer of Insulet Corporation.

Wasylyshyn first got his start in 2000 as a director of information technology at Sonus Networks. From there, he went on to Smith & Nephew, before eventually rising to Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Watts Water Technologies, his most recent position prior to joining Insulet Corporation.

Wasylyshyn graduated from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business with an MBA, from Boston University with an MS in computer information systems and from University of Massachusetts Lowell with an undergraduate degree in management information systems.

David Harlow, Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer

David Harlow is the Chief Compliance and Privacy Officer of Insulet Corporation. He first joined the company in 2019.

Previously, Harlow was a health care attorney, consultant and blogger at The Harlow Group LLC and before that a partner of health care practice at Posternak Blankstein & Lund LLP. Earlier in his career he worked with Rubin and Rudman LLP as a real estate and business attorney.

Harlow earned a JD in health law from Boston University School of Law, an MPH in public health and health law from Boston University and an undergraduate degree in modern literature and society from Brown University.

Lei Mercado, Chief Marketing Officer

Lei Mercado is the Chief Marketing Officer of Insulet Corporation. Mercado has 20 years of experience. She began her career in 2002.

Before joining Insulet Corporation, Mercado was a VP of Global Strategic Marketing and Global Platform Leader at Johnson & Johnson and before that a VP of Marketing at Stryker. Earlier in her career she worked with Intel Corporation as a quality and reliability manager.

Mercado graduated from Tongji University with a PhD in solid mechanics, from Arizona State University with an MBA in general management and from Xi’an Jiaotong University with an undergraduate degree in engineering mechanics.

Dan Manea, Chief Human Resources Officer

Dan Manea began his professional career 26 years ago. Today, he is the Chief Human Resources of Insulet Corporation.

Manea first got his start in 1996 as an HR manager South-Eastern Europe at Eli Lilly. From there, he went on to Novartis.

Manea graduated from Universitatea de Medicină și Farmacie din Craiova with an MD and from Washington State University with a master’s degree in business administration.
